Full-time Customer Service Position

Our customer service attendants are the core of our centers--greeting guests in person and by phone, relaying details about our bowling Center, pricing, promotions and specials. These team members understand that exceptional guest interactions are at the core of the center experience and in their roles they tackle a host of guest needs --providing our customers with the proper equipment; ensuring that this equipment is clean and organized; managing customer flow, tracking lane availability, and maximizing lane usage; and following all cash-control procedures when ringing sales at the front counter. 

Job Requirements:
This position requires the flexibility to work a variety of day, evening and weekend shifts. 
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be neat and clean in appearance.
Some knowledge of bowling would be helpful but we are willing to train the right person.
Must have reliable transportation.

Full-time Pin Chaser

Description of Position: Self-starting proactive person who is able to quickly diagnose and repair bowling machines. The bowling mechanic ensures lanes, pinsetters, pins, bowling balls, ball returns, scoring equipment, and all other related mechanical systems are operating at the highest level of efficiency. The bowling mechanic’s job leads to the overall safety and satisfaction of our guests.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and functional bowling experience.
  • Repair and maintain mechanic equipment to ensure operational excellence.
  • Keep detailed records of parts and mechanical performance.
  • Clean, repair, and adjust automatic scorers.
  • Prepares orders for parts and supplies for managers’ approval.
  • Assist in preparing annual forecasting of major improvements and repair programs.
  • Ensure that workshop and machine areas are clean and free of clutter at all times.
  • Respond to maintenance needs are necessary as directed by the management team. 

Job Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Must be able to listen attentively and rapidly process information.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while multitasking.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • The ability to interpret common technical manuals and schematics, read, write, and communicate.
  • Must be able to communicate accurately and professionally with managers, teammates, and guests.
  • Must have a good sense of balance and be able to bend, kneel, sit, crouch, or crawl frequently.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be comfortable working in loud environments.
  • Must be comfortable with, and adhere to, all safety precautions when exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Part-time Snack Bar / Kitchen Staff

Summary:

The Snack Bar / Kitchen Staff is responsible for performing a variety of duties within a fast food / snack bar establishment which may include completing customer transactions, cleaning the food or stock areas, assisting in the kitchen area, and maintaining inventory; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. 

Essential Functions:

  • Greets customers and takes food order; provides information about menus; looks for opportunity to "up-sell" products
  • Operates cash register and receives payment from customer in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required, and follows all the company's customer service and cash handling policies and procedures
  • Ability to prepare menu items according to customers order while following company preparation and quality standard guidelines
  • Cleans and stocks work area
  • Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed
  • Receives inventory, moves and lifts food and beverage products and supplies; maintain a solid knowledge of product and services available.
  • Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
  • Cleans and sanitizes work station and equipment

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner

Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions

Requires the ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs

Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, as well as converse comfortably with customers

Cash handling and customer service experience preferred

Part-time Cleaning Position

Part-time Cleaning Position:

Duties include:
Basic cleaning and upkeep of the inside and outside of the bowling center.
Emptying trash, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, sanitizing counter and table surfaces and
various other general duties assigned by the center manager. 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to follow directions given by the center manager, report areas of concern or building maintenance needs to the manager as well as maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, trash bags Etc.

 
Availability: This position requires the candidate to work 20 hours per week, 5 day per week starting at 6 am.
